Cingular To Offer $100 Rebate On Treo 680 and Treo 750
Cingular has announced a rebate offering $100 off the purchase of either a Palm Treo 680 or Palm Treo 750 smartphone.
The offer is valid with a new 2-year committment. The promotion runs from November 5 through December 30th. Palm announced the Treo 680 last month and it was anticipated the release would occur on November 5th. Neither Palm or Cingular have confirmed the Treo 750 release, but it appears the antenna-less Windows Mobile based Treo will make it’s appearance in the US sooner than later. The Treo 750 is a Cingular branded version of the recently released Treo 750v. It’s expected to support HSDPA and has built-in support for Palm’s popular threaded SMS messaging that renders text messages in a “chat-style” format.
