I, along with many others, tried unsuccessfully to pre-order one of these systems. Last week, I ran frantically to the phone to hear a pre-recorded message from GameStop. "My xBox 360 pre-order would not be available on launch day. It should arrive sometime in January."
The shortage could be just planned marketing hype or a real shortage. Either way, I'm excited and will be among the masses waiting at Wally World tonight at midnight.
It appears that some guy has been camping out at a local Best Buy since Saturday.
That's just too funny.
