yup, me too... OSX 10.3.9. Using Missing Sync and D-Link BT adapter. Random success for me. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Haven't discovered any common circumstances to the failures yet. I've removed the artifact "Bluetooth-PDA-Sync" through the Bluetooth Serial Utility as recommended by MarkSpace KB. I can "Send File" to the Treo from the Mac via BT, and then still it won't sync. I can't find any obvious application conflicts, though it does seem to happen after launching Missing Sync to load installs or change profiles. How could it be signal failure? I'm 2 ft away from my mac! Soft Reset does no good. Rebooting the Mac seems to work (like that'll happen).
For example, this morning I sync successfully via BT (everything but itunes enabled), then this afternoon while trying a quick install (just install) it fails with the "port conflict" error. argh!
And now, I just toggled bluetooth on/off on the treo, and its working... gimme a break. Will post after further testing to see if this is a reliable work-around...
Thanks for the start to a solution.
