Oh, the one thing that is kinda tickin me off is that all these reviewers are knocking on the 700's 240x240 screen vs. the 650's 320x320. Yes, the 650 is a tad sharper. A TAD. Once you throw the brightness up and enable clear type on the 700, the screen looks pretty darn good and comparable if you ask me.
I think it's noticeable depending on the content. The Today screen, web browsing and messaging is great. If you compare side to side, the difference while viewing pictures is noticable. I watched some streaming Windows Mobile Video last night --- on one hand I was impressed with the streaming (EV-DO), but it did make me long for the sharpness of the 650. I didn't like the use of real estate while in Windows Media Player.

The unit is nice though. It's a much different experience from the Palm OS. The hardware itself is giving me a bit of a comfort zone as I get used to the Windows Mobile OS.

Amazing device but not worth the upgrade from the 650 unless you have too much money.
Agreed. If you own a 650 and have the upgrade bug, I'd checkout the 700w at a local Verizon store -- my thought is that tried and true Palm OS users who own the 650 will stick with the next Palm OS based Treo -- 700p, 750p.. whatever it ends being called.
