I dont' know because I just configured it myself, but I think I read somewhere around post number 34 or 35, that Sprint needs an outgoing port setting of 465? Check back there as I am sure that someone said sprint required a different outgoing port number, but I can't remember it now . . .
The other thing is that you will have to access gMail and change your settings for POP access.
Once you change the settings there, I think you should be good to go . .

I double-checked what I loaded, and I definitely followed the procedure except for one small item. The Outgoing Server Setting came up with the default Port 25. I left it alone, and I got this error message above. I changed it to port 587 and received the same error message. Where did I go wrong?
I'm using Sprint.
Thanks for the assistance.
