It seems that Palm.com currently has a great deal for buying their Palm Treo 650. One option is to buy the Treo "unlocked" with a case and car charger. I was wondering if someone can kind of expalin what unlocked really means and if Verizon Wireless would accept an unlocked phone. From what I understand, unlocked means that the phone isn't locked to one carrier, and isntead of having your tipical 2 year contract, you can have a monthly service instead. Is this correct?
