I haven't heard anything confirming the release of the 700w. Verizon has a 6 month exclusive, so that puts us at sometime next month. I wouldn't be surprised to see Sprint add the 700w to their lineup at that time.
As for the Sprint rep, I think it was before their morning coffee.
