I actually took my Treo 600 back to Sprint last year after losing all my iCal and Address Book data when I first did a sync. I was not able to get any kind of support from either Sprint or Palm (the catch phrase being "we don't officially support Mac users...") Ugh!
I decided to try again with the 650, and using Missing Sync. I had a bit of trouble at first, like Chris described, with no data, then duplicates everywhere, but have gotten it all straightened around. I have yet to upgrade to Tiger; I am a little scared!
Anyway, in spite of the difficulties, I still find that in general, Mac apps and all things Mac tend to be simpler and run far smoother than the things I used to do with Windows....
