I think I could write a dissertation on why people dislike servers.
Site issues today were caused by:
"Customer packets transversing Frontend Customer Router to have degraded performance and packet loss to and from the public network. Suboptimal routing continued throughout the duration creating continuous routing issues."
The English translation being, "
Your site is down and continued to stay down for a real long time."
If I'm looking at the glass as half full, it was "network" related and not "server" related.
Now I know the meaning of "dedicated server". Dedicated to making you lose sleep, hair, mind.
In the words of my favorite movie Office Space,
