BackupManager and Resco Backup - the two top device based backup programs out there. I have licenses for both and use Resco Backup exclusively.
ChatterEmail - the big dude when it comes to email. It handles IMAP/PUSH and the competition is no where as good.
Comet - used for tracking telephone calls.
Cradle Care - put it in the cradle and forget about it. It does a few things rather well. I generally use it to monitor the SD card - when the card runs away Cradle Care sets off an alarm.
Cradle Robber - when enabled it sets off an alarm if the power cable is disconnected.
Datebook 6 - the latest release of the default datebook in the Palm OS stable. It is a heck of a program and one of the most widely used third party applications. It has no competition. Agendus works in much the same, but it is more "contacts" situated.
Directory Assistant - freeware program for getting phone number information, maps, things like that. Works well.
Documents to Go - the mobile paper office - Word, Excel compatibility.
eReader - for those times I have nothing to do and want to read.
FileZ - another great freeware program that has excellent file management capabilities.
Group Text Messaging - for those times you want to send SMS to bunches of people at the same time. It does not integrate into the SMS messages database. So if you use it, send yourself a copy of the message.
Palm File Browser - another freeware program that works with either USB or Bluetooth for moving things around.
Flight Status - keeps you updated on your flight information.
HanDBase - a relational database program.
Kinoma Player - makes noise and lets you watch noise - movies.
KMaps - Java based application that displays maps that allow you to scroll. It is also a freeware program.
mSafe - security program.
Nexus - dictionary program with pretty pictures.
On Guard - by Northglide and it is the ultimate program for backing up user specific applications and/or their data files in real time life - a great companion to your daily backup program.
Palm PDF - freeware Adobe reader, works well.
PAR Pro - for recounding noise to the wav format.
Pay Off - no longer supported - amortizations.
PDAnet - for those times you just gotta use your Palm hand held to get your lap top on to the Internet. Try it and give it a good workout before buying.
Pocket Lingo - another dictionary - no pretty pictures - I like it better than the pretty picture one.
Resco Viewer - viewing pretty pictures on the device.
Call Shield - telephone call management.
Snap - taking bmp pictures of your device when enabled.
Teal Lock - another good security program. This one is undergoing a lot of beta testing/changes as we type.
Volume Care - makes your Treo noiser and easier to hear.
ZLauncher - the top dog of third party launchers.
