This was to be a fantastic sports weekend for me. It was the start of the NHL season, the Cowboys were playing the Eagles and my beloved NY Yankees would be cruising through the first round. Well, my Islanders have picked up where they left of last year - losing. I'm not sure if I'll have the strength to cheer come Saturday if they go 0-4 on their west coast trip. I, along with just a few other NY'ers, are in shock over the Yankees early exit. I think Mr. Steinbrenner put it best - "sad failure". If that wasn't enough, I returned home from a weekend away to watch Drew Bledsoe throw ducks to the Eagles defense and basically give the Eagles the game. I love sports, but no so much this weekend.

Fire Joe. Hire Lou.
Bench Drew. Start Romo.
and pray that Charles Wang sells the Islanders.
