I'm not sure I'd be able to help. On this topic, if you use iTunes to play your music and you're looking to stream music from your PC, then I'd recommend getting
AirPort Express. I have AirPort Express plugged in next to my audio system. I have it hard wired to my router. This allows it be seen from all the laptops and my Mac. From any computer, you can select "Living Room", which will stream music to the main system. I wired A and B speaker systems allowing me to then switch from Living Room to my backyard speakers. In the end, I'm able to listen to my iTunes in the main living room or outside.
