 Keygaurd Issues
Just got my new Treo 680 this week. It's nice to be back on the Palm platform but here are some issues.
They keygaurd seems to work as it should. Hit any key and nothiing happns. BUT if you hit any of the application keys at the top (phone, calendar, mail, home) the keygaurd pops up its warning but the Treo does come to life and switch the application. Why does it do this? I hate that. Also, if you lean on the redpower key when in lock mode it does turn off the phone! Again, lock should mean lock no matter what. This has been driving me nuts. I used to have the Nokia E72 and when you locked that sucker, there was nothing you could do to change it. Locked was locked, period.
Battery life is also the worst of any phone I have had, I wish it was better. I have seen thinner phones with better battery. On the plus side: keyboard rocks, Palm OS rocks (but they should have been at Linux by now) and Mac integration rocks.
