So, I received my Cardo Scal 500 today. As the instructions say to charge the unit for a good 4 to 5 hours before, using I hooked everything up. I noticed the AC adaptor plug won't go in all the way. About 1/16th of an inch of the plug still shows. Anyway, according to the manual, the indicator light on the 500 should glow red while charging. Only when it goes out, does it mean it's fully charged. This was rather perplexing. I turned it on and paired it with the T650 just fine. Even used it for a few calls. The sound quality was not anywhere near what I expected. Very crackly and a slight echo. Is this because it is not fully charged? What am I doing wrong? The unit is firmly "clicked" into its cradle. The only thing is I can't insert the plug all the way.
