I hope this isn't a stupid question...

I have a 650 supplied by my employer. When it came out of the box, it was already synced with my email inbox, and re-syncs every hour. I do not have a cradle or any connection to my laptop, and have never used Hotsync. Nor do I have any software that I can install on my laptop.

So my question - how can I install applications on my Treo? Is it possible to download them direct from the internet? Or transfer via an SD card (or beam them somehow?) from my laptop? All the trial versions I have seem to need installing on the laptop, and then sending to the 650... but I don't have Palm OS on the laptop, so the file formats are unrecognised.

Any ideas appreciated
