In fact this is a mystery to me why there is no devices like this for any other phone, at least none that I've heard of. A lot of people would love to give up their land lines and have just one phone. The only thing that stops me from dropping my landline is that I don't want to carry around the home my mobile. And you often don't hear if it is ringing in another room. It would be much nicer if it would route the calls to my local network of phones in every room, while staying in the cradle.
If I was a telecommunications engineer I would start selling devices like this and get rich. Instead I am pleading for help in the chat room.  |
Okay, now maybe I am not fully understanding, but when I get home I do call forwarding from my cell to my home phone, then I shut off my Treo 600. In the morning I turn on my Treo and un-forward my calls. This works really well for me - no cost (included in my Verizon package). Just a thought...
