"What you can do, is take the block off, get the pay by the KB plan, and then set up a "fake" service for your treo to try and access.
Go to Prefs, Network, menu, new. Set up any type of network you want, and give it a name. Then, click on the "service" dropdown menu and select your new network. As long as that is selected, and National Access is NOT then you will be fine.
You can test it out by opening "web" and you should get a message that says "you need to connect to the internet to do this" tap yes, and then you should get some type of network error message. If you do, you are golden! |
