Have you tried pairing another BT headset with the Treo? | Yea... this I know. I was hoping that shadowmite's hack (which works for the PalmOne WiFi card) would work for the Sandisk. The Treo's WiFi functionality is a great disappointment to me. If I knew that Palm was going to suck up to wireless phone providers and disable WiFi capability so users are stuck paying for bloated 'data plans,' I may not have purchased this Treo in the first place. Shadowmite proved that WiFi card compatibility is easily achieved and that Palm isn’t interested.
As for the Jabra, I'm at a loss. You're right, it should work. But there is nothing complex about pairing bluetooth devices. It was quite embarrassing, I must say, when my father-in-law pulled out a busted up Ericson, paired the Jabra, and made a successful call. I almost threw my Treo in the toilet... This thing has been a BIG disappointment (though I still love it.) Such is life… |
