I was just in the same situation where I just wanted the voice plan only. I just recently bought a 700p and activated the phone. Verizon automatically added the unlimited data plan into my account once I activated the treo but I just called the customer service and they took out the unlimited data plan and added the "per kilobyte plan," which has no monthly charge.
FYI, don't use the phone tutorial on the treo as it may access the web and I believe that's what happened to me as I was charged 320KB's of data without even knowing. |
