I answered "No", but I'm just not sure yet.
As 3G phones change the way we use our laptops/smartphones -- I see this as an attractive, lightweight alternative to a laptop. But I am not ready to give up the laptop, which means that the Foleo is a $500 luxury for when I think all I will want to do is connectivity stuff.
But who knows, with a 3G phone and the Foleo, I may not need to keep data with me (on a laptop) if I can access it very quickly remotely.
If I can use Word, Excel and some other applications (remotely, if that is good enough, but even if I can access files stored on the phone or in flash) I might consider giving up the laptop. On the other hand, If I get to the point that I can blow $500 on a toy -- very possibly.
The Foleo will not succeed as a third device, people already carry too much. If it succeeds, it will be as a lightweight replacement for the laptop. I might own both, but I will never carry both.
