The information that I've read on transfer rates indicates that an adapter has an extremely negligible effect on speeds, hope that helps. I use a microSD with a Mini adapter... the best thing about it is that it is very multi-purpose - I can (with the included adaptors) put this card into literally anything. Hope this helps.
