I had an sd card whose locking slider was so loose that just sliding it into the slot on the PC would lock out the card so the pc could not/would not read it.
I got a small device that inserts the sd card in one end and the other end has a usb concetor - plug in the sd card, plug in the unit to an available usb slot and you have it . Basically it is a thumb drive with removable/replacable storage cards.
may not work for your situation but worked for me. |
