I know of a couple people that have gotten inflated bills for using it as a modem but one call and a complaint from them with some knowledge and both of them had their bills adjusted right.....

PDANet is what I use and it is perfect for using the Treo as a modem.....

I wouldn't worry about it.....maybe a few years back before everyone was doing it, it raised a few red flags but nowadays everyone has data plans and PDAs and laptops.....They assume people with these gadgets are smart enough to get it linked for modem use.....

I say go for it and RUN FREE!!!!!!!!!!!
