The major differences other than physical size:
#1) the screen is smaller by .2" - not much, but it is noticeable. The resolution is the same, 320 X 320, meaning that because the pixels are closer together, the resulting image is sharper and sharper it is.
#2) It has 4mb more of available user memory.
#3) It uses a micro card. I copied my 700P backup to it and found the card was erratic, so I formatted the card and installed one-by-one. Had problems with 1 application, the rest were fine. That application was updated and is running great - 1 reset on day 1, none after that.
#4) the key pad is cramped and for me, it means a lot of effort getting use to it. I use my 700P for hours at a time throughout the day and I am sure I would adjust quickly, but again, it is smaller.
#5) battery length - it is much less and that is because the device is so much narrower. Like the other Treos though, the battery can be fed throughout the day without any problems.
#6) The device is VERY stable.
If font size is a factor, an application such as FontSmoother may be worth looking at. I use it on both devices and no problems at all.
