You probably don't want to get rid of the contact search. Just start typing a name and it will immediately start listing all possible matches from your address book. The more letters you type, the more the search narrows.
I can usually call any one of the couple hundred people in my address book by typing 3 to 4 letters and arrowing down to the number I want. Next best thing to total hands free dialing via Voice Command. |
