Again, that glitch
only results in a loss of audio
ALERTS (ringtones/alarms/calendar reminders), not voice calls.
Even so, if you're running WM5 you should patch that bug. You can read more about it and get the fix here:

I still think you've got a hardware issue in your earpeice. If it's a new unit, I'd see about getting it swapped.
