I now have my ChatterEmail set to retrieve mail every 12 minutes and at the end of my work day my battery is still at around 75%, when I had it set to Push (always online) my battery would be around 50% at the end of the day. On weekends, I take Chatter offline and if I want to check email, I do a Quicksync and needless to say the battery life is even longer that way.
