ChatterEmail has many capabilities, one of them is being online constantly with your email server and pushing instantly, any new emails, into your Chatter inbox and alerting you (via flashing LED, or sound alert or screen popup) You can also choose to leave it Offline and sync when you want, or to Quicksync at any chosen minutes that you choose (like every 5 minutes, 7 minutes, etc) It handles both POP3 and IMAP and I use it with my gmail account in the IMAP mode. You merely choose gmail IMAP among the many selections in the account setup, and it inserts all the configurations for you. It is super easy. There are some fine tuning things you can do to make it more personal but it is very reliable and in Push mode, you still have some battery left at the end of the day.
Also, on a 755, you get Google Maps and Pocket Tunes standard edition as native applications............... you have to install them on the 650.
