Okay, it sounds like you're saying your earpeice speaker is dead. Though I've not had this issue myself, I've seen it go by in the forums a few times.
The contacts with the earpeice speaker are (from what I remember) a couple of metal tabs. They can become loose over time or after a hard jolt (like being dropped.) The simple fix in that scenario is to open up the device and put a little more bend in the tabs to make contact.
If the speaker is truly toast, then you can replace with one from a 680 which you should be able to find online. |
