Hello all. I have done a search but cannot seem to locate an answer for my question.

I am using the mail program that comes loaded on WM6 of the Treo 750 (not chattermail or versamail). I setup my IMAP4 email account and everything is sending/receiving smoothly. However, I do not get an audible alert when I receive a new email (or even a visual alert on my Today screen - it just constantly says "No unread emails") . I have gone to the sounds/notification section of settings and made sure that everything is properly checked. At the same time, the new messages are coming in as already read messages, not new messages, which is what might be cause for no alert. I have not viewed these messages anywhere else on my server, so I have no idea why they would be coming in as already read.
Any help with this would be very much appreciated.

Also, on a side note...is it possible to record video and to assign that video (w/audio) to be a ringtone for a specific contact? I was able to do this on a Sony phone I had, but not sure if it can be done on a Treo 750.
