Any help would be great on this, I have unlocked Treo 750 from cingular, I downloaded the updater from palm with my serial number, and started the update, according to the final screen there was an error during installation, it wanted to start all over again and I could not stay and finish. I disconnected the phone from the pc, it had the screen on it as if it was new to setup, do the touch screen thing, set the time and date etc.
I did all that and the phone seemed to be working fine. I have been using it for a week now and no problems. the only glitch I am having is the bluetooth keeps dropping off, not connecting for my Motorola earpiece. it is hit and miss.
so, I decided that when I had some time I would start the update again and hope that it would overwrite everything, or delete it and then start a entire new install again. surprise,
it started but then message said update was not needed and that was it.
any advice on this, I would like to do a total new install again, just thinking there is something that did not complete during the first install.
thanks in advance for any suggestions.
ps. I have not tried a hard reset, as I was told since this is an unlocked phone, I may not get it started again.
