The wm6 update was only for the 700wx and only for Verizon customers. Not really sure why. I read an assumption somewhere that Palm offered the update to Verizon because Verizon has such a large stock on the 700wx, and the one way to help get rid of the stock would be to offer the firmware update.

I also found that someone had built a *custom* firmware update for the 650(?) that would allow google maps to triangulate your position. The reason the 700 can't is because the API is locked = phone won't communicate that type of info with multiple towers at the same time and share the info with the third party app. There must be a way to unlock this feature... Anyone???
