Looking to access your Gmail account on your Treo? Simply reply to this thread to see the complete guided tutorial with screenshots to set up Gmail using Versamail on your Treo.
First things first, launch Versamail and go to Account Setup:
Next, name it Gmail or anything else you'd like. Select Other and POP as the protocal.
Enter your full username, so
yourname@gmail.com and enter your password.
Enter your email address and the coordinating POP and SMTP settings:
Click on advanced and set incoming server settings:
Next, it will ask you to set outgoing server settings:
Press Done and then Get Mail. That's it. You've successfully set up Gmail using Versamail on your Treo. I haven't tried this with Snappermail, but I'm sure it works using the
above settings which by the way are available at Google.
