I have never owned a pda, but I am getting so busy and I need to be able to take my Microsoft outlook everywhere with me. It is alot of money to spend and I was just wondering if it was worth the money.

The Treo is definitely worth the money. I've used the Treo since the original Treo 180 and never looked back. That being said, it's much more complex than a regular phone. The Treo 650 uses the Palm OS (which is an operating system - think Windows XP, Mac OS X, etc.). Now, if you're using the basic functions out of the box - email, web, etc, it's not that hard. However, it is a big change from using a "regular phone". Once it's set up, you'll reap the rewards of having a smartphone. You'll have access to all your contacts, be able to check email at anytime, any place -- be able to access the web and more. Plus, you can also manage your calendar. There are also thousands of applications that expand the use of the Treo - you can manage your checkbook, use it as MP3 player, Chat using AOL IM, Yahoo IM, MSN Messenger, use as a GPS System.
Really, it's endless what you can do with a Treo 650. If you're unfamiliar with the functions of a PDA, then I'd suggest getting a book such as
Now You Know Treo.
