Thank you very much for replying.

For the last 3 years, I've had a PalmV and I connected to the Internet over Compuserve using a GSM phone with an infra-red Port (it only worked 10% of the time) .  Two weeks ago, I bought a Treo 270 and like is a lot easier.

In fact it is so much easier, I gave up my Compuserve account.  On the other hand, when I travel in Europe, my local ISP will be very expensive to call.  If I were to register on a free European ISP before coming over, do you think I would have any trouble connecting using my Treo?  Here, the few free ISP's disguise your ID and Password so that what you are sending is not what you think you are sending and you cannot just call them on a PDA and use your ID and Password (at least, not without having to figure out what you are really sending them.)
