Believe me, I'm in no rush to line the pockets of Billy Gates (save for the xBox and xBox 360). That being said, I'm for any product that pushes the technology envelope and makes my mobile life that much better. I've been using the Treo since the early days of the Star Trek communicator 180 and the product line just continues to get better from a hardware perspective. Will the 700 be enough to upgrade? It's too early to tell.. at least for me as a Mac user. Obviously, the first question will be support for the Sync process and my iApps.

As a Mac convert as of a few years ago, I can strongly say I do not want to gravitate back toward Microsoft (except for xBox and xBox 360). I hope that a Palm based Treo 700 is not far off. That little "w" at the end of the part number tells me they are fore shadowing a distinction in operating systems otherwise why else would they put it there? I hope it is the case that we will see a Treo700 "p".
