Default pocket informant vs agenda fusion

I'm looking to install a third party PIM program on my new 700w, and I'm wondering what people are prefering between Pocket informant and Agenda Fusion. Does installing these mess with the Today Screen or just the various outlook components that lie behind it. Randy

Pocket Informant is an EXCELLENT program, but I cannot speak for Agenda Fusion, as I have never tried it. PI does not affect the Today screen at all. It is just souped-up Outlook Mobile.

You can to to www.pocketgear.com and they have free trial on their software. I have Informant and had tried Fusion, not a whole lot of difference between the two that I saw. Ended up sticking to Informant.

can either of you using informant tell me what trouble i may be having. i cannot seem to get the icons to show up in any format. only when i assign categories can i pull up the icons. but when i select an icon for a category the icon does not show up on the selection / assignment screen.
when i go to assign a category to a task the categories come up without the icons as well. very frustrating , had no problem when i used an audiovox ppc. worked without a hitch then.
thanks for any help.

This might be better posted in a new thread but does anyone know if I can configure Pocket Quicken to sync to G-Cal?

I swore I'd never use Outlook again and am looking for a desktop alternative for my calendar and contacts.

It's looking like I'll be going back to Outlook unless anyone is using any other combination.

Thanks,

Sean

I like using Plan Plus for Microsoft Outlook from Franklin Covey. Have version 4 and may upgrade to version 5 It has a version of pocket informant built in. I dowloaded version 7 of PI for free recently and then they came out with PI ver 8 shortly after that. If I upgrade to version 8 I will have to upgrade to PPO version 5. PPIO is a plug in to outlook. I have been using outlook for about 10 years and really have liked it for the most part. You might take a look at sbsh products such as pocket breeze. I looked at them they look pretty good.
