 |  Upgrading to Windows Mobile 6 I have a treo 700w from Verizon that came with Mobile 5. I was just wondering how difficult/risky is it to upgrade to Mobile 6? I'm fairly comfortable with partitioning and formatting drives and fresh installs of XP, somewhat comfortable with flashing firmware onto peripherals. I read that Mobile 6 has better memory management and just overall runs faster between applications than Mobile 5, so I'd like to upgrade, but if there's a big risk of me buggering up my phone permanently... Thoughts, comments, war stories, suggestions welcome... |

| At present there is no legal way (or illegal) that I know of. WM6 is available for the 755 but I think that's the only one. I've seen on this forum where Spring nor Verizon will be offering this upgrade; sad to say. |
