Windows Media Player

Hello All.

I have a few windows media player files on the pc, tried getting them to play on the treo, nothing, get the message "this file hasn't been assigned a program, open application and open file from there", I go to WMP, but cant locate the file. Had a squint through previously posted topics, but cant find anything on this exactly.

Secondly, does anyone know of a website, where I can download trailers, films etc specifically for mobile phones and more specifically for the treo.

There is a procedure that needs to be followed when you add or remove music or videos on you Treo.

1. Download or load the music to the SD Card (or directly unto the Treo).
2. Start Windows Media Player
3. With the stylus, touch Menu (lower right corner) / Library
You now are at the library section
4. With the stylus, touch Menu / Update Library
5. After the Update Library is complete, touch Done.

Everything should now be available in Windows media Player.

Hello, I have the same problem as biker74. I followed your instructions to the letter. I loaded 9 songs on my disk; Update Library found the 9 files; the next message I got was "adding files...." It hangs up here. I never see DONE at the bottom. The phone also locks up and I have to reboot. Is there anything else I can try??
