    Default 650 & Faxing/ wmv's, pics on e_mail

    I am pretty new to this and would like to know if my 650 has the ability to recieve faxes, if so what apps do I need and if not what series of treos do recieve faxes? I am also looking for apps that would allow me to view movies and pics off of my yahoo account using my phone. Info would be helpful.

    Hi Arthur,

    I do fax to and from my Treo 650 with My Fax.com. Sent faxes goes to email as a PDF attachment which I get on my Treo using VersaMail. Once downloaded, I use Docs to Go ver8 (dataviz.com) and read my faxes. You can also send a documet from your Treo (or card) by attaching it to an email and sending it to the fax number addressed like 1XXXxxxXXXX@myfax.com. Be sure that you add your Treo's mail account in your profile on MyFax.com. Cost is $10 monthly for MyFax and I have a toll free fax number.

    Using a GSM Treo Pro and loving it. Upgrading from a Cingular Treo 650-2.0GB card. Primary Apps: zLanucher, Palm Bible, Docs to Go 8.0, Versamail (3 accounts), GlimmerMail (for my Hotmail account) Back Up Buddy, TCPMP, Butler, Volume Care & standard apps.
