Ben
I've had every version of Palm and Treo out there, and reviewed most software. However, I'm looking for an application that will allow me to add handwritten notes to Word, Excel, PPoint, and/or pdf files (similar to what a tablet can do.) Is there such a beast?:foot:

Thanks Ben, but I'm looking for a program that actually adds the handwritten notes on top of the text, similar to a tablet. i.e i have a document open in Docs To Go, and i want to circle a word, strike through a word, or add a note to the side in my own writing (not text).
know of anything like that?
Gosh no. Ben

BugMe will allow you to add handwritten notes on top of a note but I believe you have to do a screen capture. Not sure if it offers what you want but you may want to check it out.

More like a limitation to Docs2Go and Word (which itself only allows for strike-thru and highlighting, but only in a very formal manner) rather than a Palm problem.
Meanwhile, Memos was always meant to be a very basic text program, so no joy there, either.
I certainly get what you're trying to find, but you're asking for a Palm WP program that embeds graphics on top of (rather than within) text - and that sounds more like a picture save than a text save.
Try calligrapher85 & PhatPad41. You can find them on this site. I use both, they work seamlessly togeather. Works like notepad and has e-mail support.

I looked at Calligrapher and PhatPad and they don't look like they support Palm OS. That is, I'm assuming the OP was asking for Palm OS software.
