The developer of Chatter's leaving further development and personal support to take a position at Palm. Many of us use Chatter extensively and Marc's support has been a plus to owners. I wonder what the future will hold for Chatter.

His decision to go with Palm has put my worked toward intention of going with WM6 on hold. Marc's talent will be missed; however, given his tremendous abilities in so many areas, Palm has an excellent chance of moving forward.

The only reason I have been considering going with WM6 has been because of the "pending" death of the Palm OS. I frankly find it very difficult to believe that Marc's decision is in vain.

I hope you're right. Between my 650 and now my 700p, I've grown sorta attached to Palm and would hate to see it wither and die, like we've been hearing, especially being a PPC convert like I am.
