Default Need Contacts Replacement to support MANY categories

Can anyone recommend a good replacement for Contacts which can support MANY categories. I currently use probably 30 or 40 categories to sort my contacts on my Mac, and many of the contacts have multiple categories assigned to them. I'd love to be able to
have this information and functionality available to me on my Treo 650. I believe I've heard that KeyContacts might support this, but I wanna know for sure before I shell out for their expensive program.

I use Entourage X on the Mac, running Tiger 10.4.4. I sync using the Microsoft Entourage Conduit, (NOT MissingSync.)

Thanks!

Try KeySuite (www.chapura.com) and Beyond Contacts (www.dataviz.com). I do similar with my Treo and OL and this has worked great for me for many models/years.

KeySuite. Even lets ya assign multiple categories per contact. I miss that, but I ultimately decided that, given my heavy dependency on CallNotes, it made more sense for me to stick with the built-in contacts database. KeySuite uses its own DBs.

Not meaning you to spend more money, but Chapura also has a product that does the detailed call log (as I remember CallNotes is, please correct if wrong). That would duplicate what you have there. Unfortunately, its a nice sized expense for that kinda functionality.

Very kind of you to give me that heads up, and I appreciate it. However, although I did seriously consider the product you mentioned, I passed. I now prefer that all notes get dumped into the native PIM dbs, since that is the norm for other apps on which I heavily rely, such as DateBk6 and MemoLeaf. DB6 allows me to establish links among all those core apps, which makes my life much easier. MemoLeaf is an incredibly speedy search app for the memopad, with templates. Still glad I invested in KS -- I exploited it to the max while loaded, and may some day return to it.
