Dialing desk phone with Palm desktop software

Hello,

I have a Treo 600, but this is about the Palm desktop. I am looking for a way to use my Palm desktop to dial out on my office phone (Meridian M7310) at work. It seems silly to constantly lookup numbers and then dial them manually.

I don't want to use Voice over internet. I want to use my office phone. The Palm Desktop will dial a modem, so I have to believe that it will dial a telephone if properly connected.

Any thoughts/ideas?
