I am wondering what kind of applications would the user community like to see for their TREO 650s? What gaps are missing or is there not a good solution for?

Support for two Bluetooth devices at a time. So, I could use my headset while navigating on the TomTom Bluetooth GPS.

I use a Java application at work and something is awways happening and I have to restart. How stable is Java on the TREO

I haven't used it, but I believe it takes up quite a bit of space on your Treo. Java always tends to be a crap shoot -- even on my Mac. I can use Safari on a site that uses a Java app and it won't work, yet Firefox will?

I'm travelling tomorrow for my niece's sweet 16 party. After watching MTV's, my Super Sweet Sixteen, I told my niece that I would be disappointed if she came in anything less than a helicopter. :rolleyes:

Well, I am not too sure yet. Haven't installed yet, but will be very soon. I just got my phone today.

with regards to java, well, I have been very surprised with some of the java aps for the desktop world recently. In the past, they were -- as you said -- always hit and miss.

check out these two applications in java that I have found. Google them.

freemind : an excellent thought maping program. I was very happy with it and it opened my eyes to the world of java. Previously, I was always unhappy with java.

Jarnal : This is a good opensource journal program. I just found it yesterday and I recommend you to check out the latest version. I like where it is going... but the latest "stable" version is less full featured. Still, a very nice application with lots of potential.

Hope this is OK to talk about those applications. What i am going toward is the world of Java is changing as processors get more robust...
