Does anyone have any experience with either the ArkonSF250 or the Seidio FM Transmitter and know of any reason to spend the extra $$ on the Seidio?
Is there a hardware transmitter that enables you to listen songs from your palm transmitted to the car's stereo system just like em ipods do?

It looks like the Seidio transmitter offers more frequencies, while the Arkon has 8 presets. A limited number of presets is fine unless you live in an area with a high number of FM stations. If there are stations broadcating on all of your preset frequencies, then you'll be out of luck.

the tape deck apdater in the evrythingtreo store works well.i just got it two days ago.
They still make tape players in cars? :gasp:
I've never had much luck with FM transmitters, and that's probably because the NY metro area (I live in NJ) has a lot of radio stations, which makes finding a frequency that works well difficult.
If possible, a direct wire connection would be better and there are adapters available depending on your car/stereo.
All you have to do is buy a male to male auxillary cable and get an adapter to plug into the Treo phono jack, and plug it into any Mp3 FM transmitter. I have a DLO one that plugs into the cigarette lighter, but it has engine noise.
