Default Looking for a specific email feature for Treo 650

    Hi,

I'm interested in setting up a pop3 acct on my Treo, and I know that if left in the in box, messages will be downloaded to the computer when you check mail on that computer.

However, I also notice that deleted messages and sent items do not transfer.

Is there ANY PROGRAM that can transfer messages from all folders, be it automatic or manually. If I have to do it manually that's no problem, just need a how to.

    Thanks,

    Jamie

    Jamie-
You just have to set your email client to "leave messages on server". Even after you delete them from the Treo, they will remain on the server. When you login from your home PC, your messages will download.

Regarding your Sent Messages, you might try Bcc: to yourself. Then just drag them to your Sent folder on your PC.

OK well say I BCC myself. Is there a way to move these copies I've sent myself to someplace else so they don't show up in the inbox while I'm trying to answer new emails while still being able to transfer them back to the PC?

Trivial, I know, believe me, but this issue actually pertains to someone else with a treo that would like to take the treo on business trips rather than drag his laptop.

    Thanks,

    Jamie

Just a thought, but how about setting up rules. Are we talking the Treo or the PC? If the PC, I'm sure you can set up Rules. On the Treo, I guess it would depend on the mail application and it's capabilities. Rules can make a world of difference in the management of mail. Just divert it to the appropriate folder.

I'm not sure which email app could do the trick -- Treo wise that is. Most all email apps on the desktop can handle Rules.

yeah, the pc is a piece of cake, it's the treo that's the problem.

I'll keep searching for an answer but something tells me I'm going to come up short.

Just seems strange that there isn't a program that can copy a specific folder to the computer. Seems like an ideal feature to me.

Ahhhh... I know exactly what you're looking for, but not sure what it is you need. Let me look around and get back to you.

    Anyone else know?
