Mac Rip DVDs for TCPMP
Handbrake works great
I'm using an older lombard g3/400 powerbook
so ripping a dvd took like 4 hours
but i'm sure newer machines are much faster
i ripped Brian Wilson's Smile to a 50 mb avi
at 14 frames/sec not so great video
but sound quality was great, i think i did 96 kbps
there are lots of choices about how to crop
the dvd or leave it letter boxed, i was just guess
but now i know that my tungsten e is 320x320 so
i'll do better next time
i ended up watching it landscape zoomed +20% fitbest
(tcpmp>>prefs>>video)
so, anyone know a easy program to convert all this
ipod mp4 video into a tcpmp friendly format?
anyone using some of these sites to "save any
video from google, myspace or youtube"
ok that's my first post
hope i can win the treo case
