Treo newbie (convert from an older Clie) so forgive me if this has been covered. . . .
I use a number of large medical apps on my Treo that take up quite a bit of the internal memory, and there are a couple I want to add. Unfortunately, the significant amount of memory occupied prevents me from using the Web - not enough free memory to render the pages. Any suggestions on how to remedy this? I have a decent size SD card, but I am not sure how to run software from the card. I know that it is possible to keep the main program on the internal memory and place the databases on the card, but I don;t know how best to accomplish and manage this.
Thanks! Does that use the card as an accessory "hard drive" or does it still transfer programs to the maim memory when they need to be run. In other words, do I need to ensure I leave enough free internal memory to run the largest ap on my card?
You're still going to need enough memory in RAM to run any application but you can store a lot of apps on the sd card to keep a lot of free space in your Treo's RAM.
