More Datebook5 problems - Treo Forums

Everything seems to be working great except for the fact that when I need to get into a day and delete an event the Treo freezes. The only thing to do of course is a soft reset. I have no problems adding events but for some reason it does not like it when I delete stuff. Any suggestions????

I haven't used Datebook 5. Are you using the latest version?

Hello,

I found a little trick that helped me identify what was causing my 600 to freeze at a certain point all of the time. I pasted it below. Hope this helps.

How can I find out what error caused the last soft reset on my Treo 600?

From the phone dial pad enter ##377 (#*377 on GSM phones or #*#377 on Verizon) then click the dial button. This code displays the last error which caused a soft reset, the program that was running, line number etc. Useful eh?

There's a lot of discussion on there, and a lot of the fixes in the upcoming service release are addressing issues with the 650. There are a lot of bugs in the Data Manager Patch that PalmOne uses on the 650 that cause corruption relating to deleted records; they can be easily fixed with the latest version of dbScan (that comes in the download with DateBk5). Definitely do a search on the YahooGroups list, I'm pretty sure your problem's been discussed.
